Weather resistance and adhesive selection criteria for transparent PET labels in industrial application scenarios

In the industrial field, transparent PET labels are widely used in outdoor equipment identification, chemical packaging, electronic component tracking and other scenarios due to their excellent mechanical strength, chemical resistance and high transparency. However, harsh environmental conditions (such as ultraviolet rays, high temperature, humidity, oil pollution, etc.) place extremely high demands on the weather resistance and adhesive performance of labels.

Core performance requirements for industrial transparent PET labels

1. Weather resistance: ensure long-term outdoor use without failure
Anti-ultraviolet (UV) aging: The label must remain non-yellowing and non-brittle under sunlight exposure.
Wide temperature resistance range: adapt to temperature fluctuations of -40℃~150℃ (such as frozen storage or high-temperature equipment).
Waterproof and moisture-proof: no warping or falling off in humid or liquid contact environments.
Chemical corrosion resistance: resist erosion by common industrial media such as oil pollution, solvents, acids and alkalis.

Baozhongbao solution:
We use UV stabilizer to modify PET substrate, with multi-layer protective coating, and pass QUV accelerated aging test (ASTM G154) to ensure that the label can maintain stable performance for 3-5 years of outdoor use.

Environmental simulation test:
Place the label sample in the target environment (such as high temperature and humidity box, UV aging box) to verify the performance.

Substrate adaptability test:
Test adhesion on rough, curved or low surface energy substrates (such as PE plastic).
